She is an actress and theater director, born on January 31, 1947. Her father was the poet, film director, musician, and writer, Abdul Rahman El Khamisy. She studied at the Institute of Dramatic Arts in Cairo, then joined the Theater Foundation. She appeared in a number of works in radio, theater and TV, including the series Abdeen Palace (2014- 2015), and Nofal's Prize (2002).
