    Theater director and actor, he was the first graduate of the theater department in the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University with honors in 1985. He studied with senior directing professors, including Nabil El Alfi and Saad Ardash. He directed many plays for the Mass Culture and the Artistic House of Theatre. His acting credits include the play Salome (1988), and the series And the Nile Is Still Flowing (1992). Among the plays he directed are The Cage (1992), and The Princess Awaits (1984). He worked as a director in Saudi Arabia and won many awards and honors. He also participated in several Arab festivals.
