American writer, born in Portland, Michigan, USA. Before graduating from Detroit College of Law in 1902 with a law degree, he studied in Detroit, Michigan. He did, however, serve as a reporter and editor in addition to practicing law for less than a year. In addition, he briefly collaborated with his brother on political projects. By 1907, he was once again penning for newspapers, along with several scripts and stories for creative works. |
