American actress, born November 3, 1953. She moved to St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of five, and graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1972. She married Robert Capshaw, marketing manager, in January 1976. She moved to New York to pursue her dream of acting, and landed her first role on The Edge of the Night. She is best known for her portrayal of Willie Scott in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. While producing the film, she met director Steven Spielberg, whom she later married.She starred in Dreams in 1984.
