An American actor, born in Hampstead, London, England. He was born to an American mother and a New Zealander father, who worked as a theater critic in London and a commander in the Royal Navy. After attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in England to pursue acting, he moved back to California, where he was raised. Additionally, he studied acting in New York, USA, at the Lee Strasberg Academy. He is known for Santa Barbara (1984-1993) and The Bay (2010-2023).
