An American actor, born in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. He studied at Western Kentucky University, where he majored in biology, before studying drama. He also obtained a Master of Arts from the University of Denver before teaching the same specialty. He is known for The Abyss (1989) and A Perfect World (1993).
