An Irish actor, born in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. He was educated at the Abbey School of Acting and he appeared in 130 stage productions. In 1994, he appeared in a play by Irish playwright Teresa Davey called Teresa Deevy, playing the role of Frank Lawlor. He also appeared in numerous television shows and films throughout his career, including Braveheart (1995), Gorky Park (1983), Excalibur (1981), The Legend of 1900 (1998), and the TV series Single-Handed (2007). He died on 25 February 2009 in Ireland.
