An American actor of Japanese origin, born in Colorado and raised in Guadalupe, California. He volunteered to fight in World War II, after which he started a business in Chicago and then returned to California and worked in the Altadena Playhouse. He became a familiar face for playing the role of a Japanese soldier throughout his career. His credits include Beach Red (1967) and Midway (1976). He died on March 4, 2004, in California, United States.
