A English-born South African actor, born in Manchester, England. He then moved to South Africa, and attended Colin Mann Primary School in the Rand Airport area, Germiston, before working as a piano player at Olive Steiner's dance academy in South Africa, then studied for one year at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He was a founding member of the musical group The Bats, with which he worked for fifteen years in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Germany. Some of his credits include Flight of the Phoenix (2004) and Stander (2003).
