American actor, born on February 28, 1928, Dayton, Ohio. He attended University of Dayton Law School in the late 1940's to 1947, he became a colonel in the United States Army Air Force. He decided to pursue a career as Tamil after attending a performance of a Broadway production of the bandwagon called Desire and studied acting in 1949, after which he had a career spanning five decades. He was nominated for a Broadway Tony Award five times. Among his most prominent works are: Message in a Bottle (1999), and Diminished Capacity (2008). He died on July 22, 2011, Tampa, Florida.
