American actor, born in Decatur, Alabama, USA, on January 25, 1931. He got married to Mae Entwisle (1954-1971), with whom he has two daughters, and in 1973 he got married to the actress Lory Patrick, with whom he has one child. He joined Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky in the early 1950s, but did not complete his studies there. He has two daughters, a son, and seven grandchildren. Among his most important works are: The Love Bug (1968), Beethoven (1992), and Clear and Present Danger (1994). |
