Dalia Saad |
An American politician of German origins, born in Fürth, Bavaria, Germany. He and his family later fled in 1938 from Germany to the United States of America for fear of the German Nazis. He joined the George Washington High School in New York, then Harvard College. He obtained American citizenship in 1943 and was drafted into the U.S. Army in the same year. He served as US Secretary of State from 1973 to 1977 under presidents Richard Nixon and then Gerald Ford. He also appeared in a number of documentaries, such as Bobby Fischer Against the World and Nixon by Nixon: In His Own Words.
