An American actor and screenwriter, born in Goshen, Indiana. He worked extensively in musical theater during his youth, as he worked on Broadway before moving on to the cinema screen, where he appeared in the movies The Thousand Plane Raid (1969) and A Safe Place (1971). He was also famous for lending his voice in animated films, such as the first two installments of the Toy Story films in 1995 and 1999.
