An Indian director, born and raised in Delhi, India. He moved to Mumbai, where he had previously worked in theatre. He then attended the California Institute of the Arts, where he earned a master's degree in film directing. He worked as an assistant director on the short film The Badge (2010) and went on to direct several works such as Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl (2011), and Shuddh Desi Romance (2013).
