An American actress, born in El Paso, Texas, on April 1, 1932. She won the 1996 American Comedy Award for her overall performance. Debbie Reynolds began her artistic career at the age of 16 after winning a beauty pageant with a small role in a movie with Bette Davis, after which she had the opportunity to act in Singin' in the Rain (1952) with Gene Kelly, and she learned to dance in order to win the role. She owned a casino in Las Vegas and continued to operate it until She closed it in 1997 and used all her fortune to open the Hollywood Museum.
