An American comedian, born in Dayton, Ohio, USA. He emerged in the comedic scene during the 1950s. He worked in many television series and movies, including It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963), The Flintstones (1994), and Smurfs (2011). Many comedians, such as Steve Martin and Robin Williams, have taken Winters' as their role model. He received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 1999. He passed away on April 11, 2013, at age 87.
