An American actress, born in Brooklyn on November 2, 1964 and was raised in Queens, New York. After she finished her studies at the school, she received a scholarship from the “Alvin Elly” School of Dance, which led to her first role in the musical “Dreamgirls”. Later, she was the replacement for actress Felicia Rashad in the play Into the Woods, which was shown on Broadway. Her most notable role was in the police drama New York Undercover (1994), while her role in the famous series Dexter is considered one of her most famous works, for which she was nominated for many awards.
