American actor, born in New York, USA. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University. He was a pre-medical student, then decided to pursue a career in acting. He is the father of actress Katherine Pine and actor Chris Pine. He appeared in commercial advertisements, in addition to a number of artistic works. He is known for Lakeview Terrace (2008) and CHiPs (1977-1983).
