An American director, producer, and writer, born in Bexar County, Texas, United States. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in radio-television-film from the University of Texas. His early works include The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1972) and Nichols (1971). In 1991, he won the Directors Guild of America Award for Best Direction in a Drama Series. Some of his credits include For the Very First Time (1991) and Lost (2004). |
