An American actor, born in Brooklyn, New York, USA, on April 20, 1945, as Michael Feldman to a Jewish family. At the age of nine, he relocated with his family to Valley Stream, New York, where he attended Memorial Junior High and graduated from Valley Stream Central High School. After graduating, he joined the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He worked in Broadway theaters for several years, then played his first credited movie role in Lovers and Other Strangers (1970), after which he participated in many plays, films, and television series. Later on, he traveled to Britain and participated in several television shows. Among his most important works are Four Flies on Grey Velvet (1971), Galavant (2015), and Episodes (2012-2017). In 2004, Michael Brandon was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Play. He got married twice and has one child.
