Toqa Hesham |
An Irish television, theater, and film director, born on August 19, 1969. He received a BA in English and Philosophy in 1990, and also a MA in Philosophy in 1992 from Cork University. He immersed himself in the study of theater, and saw it as a cornerstone that he could direct a movie, so he began directing plays in Dublin in the early nineties, and reached West London in 1996, becoming by chance an assistant director in Donmar Warehouse, after which he directed a short play entitled Come and Go. He also directed some episodes of the popular TV series True Detective in its second season.
