American actor, born on July 15, 1981, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In 2000, he graduated from Lancaster College, and studied business administration at West Virginia State University. He dropped out of college and moved to Hawaii and worked as a carpenter. He was previously engaged to Lady Gaga. He is known for playing Kelly Severide in the series Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med. His other credits include Vampire Diaries (2010-2011), The Forest (2016) and The Other Woman (2014). |
