A Finnish filmmaker, born in Louisiana. She lives in New York City, where she works at the American Museum of Natural History. She founded Myriapod, a film production company that specializes in natural science exploration texts. Her first documentary, Beetle Queen Conquers Tokyo (2009), was screened in the US and UK, followed by One Man Dies a Million Times (2019), Aatsinki: The Story of Arctic Cowboys (2013), and the short film Venus (2011). |
