William Jonas Armstrong is an Irish/British actor, best known for his British television roles. He started his television career by appearing in six episodes of the comedy-drama series "Teachers." He then appeared in the crime drama series "The Ghost Squad" in 2005. He also starred in the television crime-drama "Losing Gemma." His first major and most successful television role was as Robin Locksley in the BBC's 2006 series "Robin Hood." Armstrong's only Hollywood role to date is in the sci-fi action film "Edge of Tomorrow" in 2014, alongside Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton.
