A Pakistani actor, born in Faisalabad, Pakistan. His father, Khadim Mohyeddin, was a mathematician, musician, playwright, and lyricist associated with various theater groups. He spent his early life in Lahore and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London from 1953 to 1956. After notable stage works such as Long Day's Journey into Night and Julius Caesar, he appeared in the classic film Lawrence of Arabia (1962). His other works include Partition (1987), The Sailor from Gibraltar (1967), and the TV series Gangsters (1976). He returned to Pakistan and served as the director of the PIA Academy of Dance and Arts and was awarded the Hilal-i-Imtiaz. He died on February 13, 2023.
