She was a writer who was born in 1931. She obtained a BA of Arts in English Language Department from Cairo University in 1953. She obtained a diploma in script in 1964 and became an editor in "Al-Musawar" magazine. In 1959, she moved to "Akher Sa’a" magazine, where she edited many of the women’s pages, and over time she became deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine. She made her cinematic writing debut with the film The Daily Life of a Modern Woman (1987). She died in 2003 after a heart attack at the age of 72.
