An American singer and songwriter, born in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. She began singing in high school, and later joined New York University. Between 1964 and 1969, she released several songs. She also participated as a singer in a number of films. She performed the song “He Quit Me”, written by Warren Zevon, in Midnight Cowboy (1969), and the song “Am I Blue?” in The Cotton Club (1984). |
