An American director, producer, and writer. He was born on October 10, 1967, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is known for Best of Enemies: Buckley vs. Vidal (2015), Won't You Be My Neighbor? (2018), and The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble (2015). He earned the 2014 Best Documentary Feature Academy Award and the Grammy Award for Best Music Film for his widely acclaimed film 20 Feet from Stardom (2013). His documentary Best of Enemies (2015), which earned an Emmy Award, was nominated for an Academy Award in 2016. |
