A Czech-Canadian actor and opera singer born in Volyne, Czech Republic. After graduating in 1945 from the Prague Conservatory, he joined the Prague Opera House as a singer. By 1948, he was chosen to represent Czechoslovakia at the International Music Festival held in Geneva and won first prize in his category. He immigrated to Canada in 1948 and worked in numerous films and television series. His works include Mesmer (1994), Never Too Late (1996) and The Third Twin (1997). |
