Dalia Saad |
A Japanese composer and musical artist, born in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts with a master's degree in 1976. He formed the Yellow Magic Orchestra, and after the separation of his band members, he participated in the films Merry Christmas on the Battlefield and The Last Emperor). He won an Academy Award, a British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award, a Grammy Award, and two Golden Globe Awards. He also received several honors for his films The Sheltering Sky (1990) and Little Buddha (1993). Sakamoto also worked as a screenwriter. He received the Order of Arts and Letters from the French Ministry of Culture for his contributions to music.
