An American actor of Polish descent, he was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport. He also obtained a Master of Science from Smith College in 1976. He is a former professor of acting at the University of Massachusetts. He is known for Thirteen Days (2000), The Trigger Effect (1996), and Iron Man (2008).
