An American actress of Mexican origin, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Macon, Georgia. She earned a degree in sociology from Emory University, Georgia, She began acting in high school, and took acting classes in college, as she later joined the North Carolina School of the Arts. Some of her credits include General Hospital (2003-2013), West of Brooklyn (2008), and Days of Our Lives (2011). In 2005, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
