An Egyptian writer, who earned a bachelor's degree in Engineering and was awarded the State Encouragement Award in 1995 for his novel "Pastures of Killing". He also wrote many novels and political works. Among his notable works are "The Wedding", "The River of Heaven", and "The Flag".
