An American writer and actor, born in Redlands, California, USA. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Redlands in 1973, and a master’s degree in science from the Catholic University of America. He also obtained a master's degree in Fine Arts. He made his debut in the series Hot Pursuit in 1984, the year that he also appeared in the film Windy City. His other credits include Liar Liar (1997) and Holes (2003).
