An Iraqi director who obtained a master's degree from the British National Film and Television School in 2012. His short films have been shown on the BBC and in international film festivals. He considers that the beginning of his artistic career was with drawing, as he was fascinated by animated films, so he would draw cartoon characters in many ways and quickly. His film Sleeping with the Fishes participated in several international film festivals concerned with animation films, including the Edinburgh International Film Festival in Scotland, the 2013 Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival, and the Poitiers Film Festival in France.
