Toqa Hesham |
An American cinematographer, born in Houston, Texas, USA, as Levie Cruse Isaacks. During the Vietnam War, he served in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star. Isaacks then studied at the University of Texas, graduating in 1972. In the early 1980s, he began working as a camera assistant and cameraman in the film industry. Since the late 1980s, he has worked as a freelance cinematographer. In the 1990s, he also worked in television. He has become a member of the American Society of Cinematographers since 2004. He was nominated in 2012 for the American Society of Cinematographers Award for the series Man Up! Among his most important works are Leprechaun (1993), Tales from the Crypt (1991), and Malcolm in the Middle (2000). He also directed the movie Glenn’s Gotta Go (2020).
