An American director and producer, born in 1960 in the USA. He graduated from the University of Miami after majoring in music. Among his most prominent works are Space: Above and Beyond, The Pacific, and Game of Thrones. He won three Emmy Awards, most recently in 2019 for the series Game of Thrones.
