An American writer, born in Brazil. Marshall Brickman began writing for television in the sixties, and during that period, he met Woody Allen, with whom he co-wrote three films in the seventies; Sleeper, Annie Hall, and Manhattan. He also directed and wrote some films in the eighties, such as Lovesick (1983). Brickman collaborated again with Woody Allen in the film Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993). In 2009, he co-wrote the musical The Addams Family with Rick Elice. |
