Christina Aziz |
Egyptian writer, born in 1936 in Cairo. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University in 1960. He joined the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in 1963. He was appointed a tax officer after his graduation. He moved to the theater sector at the The Egyptian General Authority for Cinema, Theater, and Music in 1972. He spent the years 1977 and 1978 in Iraq as a lecturer for drama at the Academy of Arts. After he returned, he was appointed as a theater supervisor at The National Theatre for Children. He wrote poems for children in the play, Animals on the Ship and established the Children's TV Theatre. He is known for Bougy and Tamtam (1983). He died on November 19, 2013. |
