A Vietnamese actress, born in Bac Ninh Province, and raised in Hanoi, where she graduated from the Vietnamese Ballet School. She began her acting career in the film Mùa hè chieu thang dung (2000), then appeared in Vu khúc con cò (2002), which took her to the Paris Film Festival in 2003, where the film was nominated for the Grand Prix. Some of her other credits include The Quiet American (2002), Choi voi (2009) and Cánh dong bat tan (2010).
