His work on theatrical criticism includes "Al Adaa...Read more Al Seyasy Fi Masrah Al Settinat" (Political Performance in the Sixties' Theater), while his work on film criticism includes "Men Agendat Al Cinema Al Masreya"(From the Agenda of Egyptian Cinema). He also translated several works, such as "Malek Al Ghorfa Al Mozlema" (King of the Dark Room).
