Egyptian writer, born in Kafr Sheikh Governorate. He memorized the Holy Qur’an at the age of ten. He obtained a BA of Commerce from the Department of Administration and Transactions in 1966 from Al-Azhar University. He worked as a cultural specialist at El Horia Palace, Alexandria in 1967. He was promoted to director of the Damanhour Culture Palace in 1972 and was a director of several cultural palaces, including Anfoushi Culture Palace. He was promoted as a cultural advisor to the Chairman of the General Organization of Culture Palaces in the West Delta Region from 1994 until his death. He was a member of the Egyptian Writers Union and a board member of the Cultural Pioneers Association.
He enriched the theatrical educational and received certificates of appreciation from The Ministry of Education for his efforts in theatrical education and school journalism. He wrote five collections of poetry in Egyptian colloquial Arabic, including "October Songs". He wrote several plays in colloquial language which were presented on different state theaters, including "Escape Railway" on Alexandria Youth Center in 1970. He won several certificates of appreciation in the field of cultural work, including a certificate of appreciation from Al-Hayat newspaper for his efforts to the development of cultural and artistic work in 1984.
