A British actor and musician, born on June 27, 1987. He is best known for his role as Chuck Bass in the American series Gossip Girl. He trained in acting at the National Youth Theatre in London. He appeared in the British television series Doctors, Casualty, and Afterlife. In 2007, he was cast as Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl. Thanks to the series' huge success, Ed was named one of People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive in 2008. He also won the Best TV Villain Award at the Teen Choice Awards in 2008 and 2009. In 2008, Ed was chosen to be the new face of the brand K-Swiss. Among his notable films are Children of Men, J. Edgar, and Chalet Girl. Moreover, Ed was a member of the band The Filthy Youth.
