An American actress, born on September 13, 1951, in the state of Washington, USA. She attended the University of Washington after high school, earning her Bachelor degree of Fine Arts. Her first artistic steps were through the theatrical work Much Ado About Nothing. She won the Los Angeles Award for Drama in 1983. She was nominated for a Tony award. She won the Emmy Award for her guest appearance in the TV show Frasier in 1993. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for her role in Jennifer in 1999. Among her most successful works are: Designing Women (1986), Over Kill, and The Yarn Princess. |
