English actress and model, born on September 20, 1976 in Rutherford, her father was a journalist. She attended Woodbridge School and later, Newcastle University where she studied mathematics before deciding to pursue a career in modeling. She made her debut in 2000 in the movie Stardom. Among her most prominent works are The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Land of the Blind (2006), and Gosford Park (2001).
