Swiss actress, born in 1939 in Switzerland. Her mother was a pianist and also sang in the opera choir after the family moved to Zurich. She has worked as a freelance actress in many German and Swiss state and municipal theaters. She was a regular guest at the Schauspiel Köln. She has a daughter, Katalin Gödrös, who works as a director and screenwriter. She is known for The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Tatort (2014) and Der Frosch (2017).
