An American actress, born on November 11, 1964 in Illinois. Her mother, was a schoolteacher, and her father, worked for the Kraft Foods Company. She attended Rutgers University in New Jersey to study acting. After graduating from college, she worked at regional theater in Cleveland, Louisville, Chicago, and Houston for $400 for eight weeks of work. She got her first Broadway role playing Laura in The Glass Zoo, for which she was awarded with the Clarence Derwent Theater World Awards. Among her most notable works are A Midsummer Night's Dream (1999), and Telling Lies in America (1997).
