His life began on radio, as a broadcaster and occasional scriptwriter in Ohio in the 1930s, before moving to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He worked at NBC's Philadelphia Station filming small roles. He was known for his participation in Easy Money. He died on February 25, 1999 in New York City.
