An Egyptian lyricist who wrote many poems and songs for many musicals and plays, including Public Sector Dancer, The Parrot, and The Fair of Sidi El Moreib. In his poems, he is known for his sense of drama and his ability to formulate all dramatic situations in a simple, attractive style, as well as his sarcasm. He died on 11 May 2005. |
