American actress, born in Oklahoma, United States. She spent two years at the University of Oklahoma studying psychology before traveling to Europe to study advanced English in Paris, France, and Izmir, Turkey. After returning to Oklahoma, she studied dramatic arts at the University of Oklahoma. Later, she relocated to Hollywood to pursue her acting career. She is known for John Q (2002) and Alpha Dog (2006).
